Codeshastra was Mumbai's first 24-hour hackathon organised by DJCSI, the official student chapter of the Dept of Information Technology at DJSCE. This year Codeshastra has entered in its 8th edition. It throws open the doors of innovation and development to the previously theoretically oriented student. It serves as a stepping stone for an individual to transition from books to reality and they go on to become the source of ideas and innovation essential to the sustained growth of the tech community. In Codeshatra, teams are given real-world problems and are encouraged to think in a way that leads to new and innovative solutions that reduce complexity and increase efficiency. Codeshstra focuses on coming up with a solution that minimizes obstacles and enables students in realizing their dreams.
